Storyline "Nazi Invasion 3D 2012"
The novel is set in an alternate history where Nazi Germany successfully invades Britain during World War II. The small village of Oakley-on-Hulke is one of the last strongholds in the fight against the German forces. The resistance is led by a group of unlikely heroes, including a farmer named Chris, voiced by Ewan McGregor, and a Scottish Highlander named Haggis, voiced by Alan Cumming.
As the villagers try to resist the Nazi occupation, the film uses humor, satire, and absurdity to mock historical figures and events. The characters embark on a daring mission to thwart the Nazis' plans and reclaim their homeland. The stop-motion puppetry and animation style give the movie a special visual appeal.
The Jackboots on Whitehall is known for its irreverent and dark humor, playing on stereotypes and providing a satirical commentary on war and fascism. The movie's voice cast includes well-known actors such as Rosamund Pike, Timothy Spall, and Richard E. Grant. Although the movie is not well known, it has become iconic due to its unique approach to storytelling and animation in the realm of political satire.
