The protagonists are three flies that, encouraged by the stories of the grandfather of one of them, decide to embark on a trip to the Moon. On the way they will meet an evil Soviet fly.

Although the Cold War backdrop tries to be used to construct some jokes, it seems like a somewhat odd choice in a film intended for children. At first glance, the film is visually appealing, but as the action progresses it falls into a kind of torpor: the movements are extremely slow,
