The Monkey King 3D 2014

The Monkey King 3D  is based on the classic Chinese literary work "Journey to the West," which tells the legendary tale of the Monkey King, also known as Sun Wukong. In this 3D adaptation, "The Monkey King" the story follows Sun Wukong, a mischievous and powerful monkey who gains incredible strength, magical abilities, and immortality after consuming the elixir of gods. However, his antics and defiance catch the attention of the Jade Emperor of Heaven, who seeks to bring him under control.

Sun Wukong challenges the heavens and their rules, leading to his imprisonment under a mountain for five centuries. The film begins with his eventual release, as he embarks on a journey of redemption and self-discovery. Accompanied by his loyal companions, including the monk Xuanzang and other mythological characters, Sun Wukong sets out on a quest to retrieve sacred scriptures from the West and bring them back to China.
