Edge of Tomorrow 3D 2014

The story unfolds in the near future, when a swarm-like race of aliens, called mimics, makes a ruthless attack on Earth, wiping out major cities and destroying millions of lives. The armies of Earth will join forces to engage in a final battle with hordes of aliens, knowing that they will not have a second chance.

Lieutenant Colonel Bill Cage has never been on the battlefield until he was thrown into the thick of the battle unprepared and poorly equipped, effectively condemning him to death. In a matter of minutes, Cage is killed, but he takes the alien's life with him. And the impossible happens — he wakes up alive at the beginning of the same hellish day, and is forced to fight and die... again and again. Direct physical contact with the alien closed the time loop, and now Cage is going into the same battle again and again.

But with each return, Cage becomes more cruel and clever in the battle with mimics, fighting side by side with a special forces fighter Rita Vrataski, who destroyed more mimics than anyone else on Earth. Rita and Cage fight the aliens over and over again, and each recurring battle brings them closer to solving how to kill the alien invaders and save the planet.
