The Rabbi's Cat 3D 2011 Set in the Jewish community of Algeria in the 1920s. The rabbi finds his noisy parrot eaten by a cat — the cat is now talking, rude and arrogant. The rabbi teaches him the Torah; the cat decides to accept a bar mitzvah. After consulting with the rabbi, the rabbi's tension: the cat taunts, the elder demands execution for heresy. The rabbi takes the cat away; they agree that the rabbi will teach him and hold a bar mitzvah when he is ready. The cat helps the rabbi pass the French exam, but loses his speech after mentioning the name of God. Russian Russian finds a Jew in a stack of books, and the cat discovers the ability to speak Russian.; Later, French returns, and the cat becomes a translator. A Russian artist who has fled Soviet Russia; he searches for a lost city of black Jews in Africa and convinces a rabbi, a cat, and an ex—soldier to go with him.
