Set against the backdrop of a fantasy world that blends medieval Russian with various cultural traditions, “I Am Dragon” tells the tale of Princess Miroslava, known as Mira. On her wedding day, a dragon abducts her, spiriting her away to its lair on a secluded island. Amidst the ruins, Mira encounters Arman, a solitary figure with a cryptic presence. As days pass, Mira’s initial terror gives way to curiosity, and she begins to unravel Arman’s enigma. The island, steeped in the lore of dragons and human sacrifices, holds many secrets, including Arman’s true identity – he is the dragon, capable of taking human form. Their growing bond is tested when Mira’s betrothed and his army arrive to rescue her, leading to a confrontation that challenges the boundaries between love and duty, human and beast.
