In the 3D movie "Universal Soldier: Day of Reckoning" John has endured a terrible tragedy, but he remembers nothing as he has just awoken from a long coma. He struggles to come to his senses, but an unimaginable blow awaits him. He is informed that his beloved wife and only daughter perished the moment thugs invaded their home. They were murdered. This news shatters John's soul. Now, his purpose in life becomes vengeance. He discovers that the one responsible for his family's death is Luke Devero. This man will not go unpunished. Overwhelmed by grief, the bereaved father and husband sets out on the trail of his assailant. Perhaps he would have reached Luke long ago if not for one inconvenient detail. On his path, John is pursued by a ruthless killer robot, the versatile soldier Magnus. This significantly complicates the mission. Meanwhile, Devero and Andrew Scott have devised and commenced preparations for a perilous battle. It will be a revolutionary uprising, meant to initiate an anarchic state.
