The film begins with how the lifeguard Josh, who woke up with a hangover, loses his friend and colleague Rory through his own fault, who went to set up a fight on the water instead of him. Rory is killed in the jaws of a giant white shark before Josh can warn him of the danger.

A year later, we see Josh, now working as an employee in a supermarket. At the most inopportune times, a lot of dangerous people gather there, including Rory's sister, Tina, his new boyfriend, two policemen, a thief and a robber. The situation is gradually heating up and soon becomes extremely dangerous, but in the midst of a scrape, a huge tsunami wave appears on the horizon. It hits the city and almost completely floods the supermarket.

The survivors are forced to take shelter on store shelves: they realize that a tsunami wave washed away a 4-meter-long great white shark into the supermarket, the same one that Rory devoured. In addition, exposed electrical wires threaten to sink into the water and kill all survivors with electric shocks.

To get out of this situation alive, former enemies will have to act together. Josh will have to overcome the traumatic experience of the past and fulfill his duty as a rescuer this time, but will he be able to understand that even in such a situation, the most dangerous predator is a human?
