"The Smurfs 2" is an exciting 3D movie that continues the beloved creatures adventures. The evil sorcerer Gargamel creates Hackus and Vexy, a highly malevolent pair, who outwardly appear almost indistinguishable from the Smurfs. In this captivating 3D movie, with the help of these two creatures, the wizard hopes to gain magical power, but things go awry: only a real Smurf can give the sorcerer what he desires, and only Smurfette can transform Hackus and Vexy into Smurfs. Thus, the villain deceitfully kidnaps Smurfette and takes her to Paris. But the friendly Smurfs won't stand by in the face of trouble. Papa, Clumsy, Hefty, Grouchy, Vanity, Brainy, and their numerous friends from New York rush to the rescue, and they're joined by the newly-born Smurf. Whose side will ultimately prevail?
