Waking up after sleeping on Sally's arm, Mike hears him say: "I know you're a princess, and I'm just a groom." This phrase refers to one of the previous roles of Billy Crystal, who voiced Sally, the Miracle Max from the movie "The Princess Bride", telling about the love between a princess and a groom. Mike and Sally are the most experienced scarecrows in Monstropolis, but this was not always the case. When they met for the first time, these completely dissimilar monsters could not stand each other. "Monsters University" is a story about how our old friends went from mutual dislike to strong friendship.
